50th wedding

anniversary

Howell and Kassie Edwards celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 11. They were united in marriage by Dr. Niles Southwick at First Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry where they remain active members.

Howell is the son of the late Howard C. and Mary Elizabeth Edwards. He was employed as a general superintendent of transportation by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and has worked for Big Boy Inc. and McKeen Security.

His wife, Kassie, is the daughter of the late Don and Marjorie Davison, also of Martins Ferry. She is retired from teaching at Wheeling Country Day School.

They are the parents of two sons, Jeffrey (Angie Haberfield) of St. Clairsville and Dough (Leigh) of Columbus. Grandchildren Alivia, Nathan, Tessa and Madison complete the family.
