MR. & MRS. DAVE CARTER

Dave and Charlotte Carter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 30 with a trip to the Outerbanks. They were married Sept. 30, 1967. They reside on Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry.

Dave is the son of the late Charles and Bessie Carter. Charlotte is the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Taris.

The couple has been blessed with two children, son Dave Carter and wife Kelly of St. Clairsville and a daughter Missy Chieffalo and husband Shawn of Pleasant Grove. They have one granddaughter who means the world to them, Tara Evans. Tara lives in Mesa, Ariz., with her husband Judd. They have always put God first in everything that they do. They enjoy taking trips, gardening, and have a general love for life.
