50th wedding

anniversary

Dan and Susan Moran of Wolfhurst celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 4. They were united in marriage by the Rev. Father Krauter at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wolfhurst on Nov. 4, 1967.

Dan is the son of the late Richard C. and Ruth Cleary Moran of Martins Ferry and is a retired conductor from Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Susan is the daughter of the late George and Josephine Silon of Wolfhurst and is a retired laboratory technician from East Ohio Regional Hospital.

They are the parents of three children: Dan Moran Jr. and his wife Jennifer of St. Clairsville, Michelle Vucelich of St. Clairsville and her late husband Larry Vucelich Jr., and Shaun Moran and his wife Jackie of Wolfhurst.

Six grandchildren complete the family: Aiden and Makenna Moran, Brendan and Brycen Vucelich, and Lauren and Otto Moran.

The couple celebrated with a family dinner hosted by their children.
