40th wedding

anniversary

Thad and Marilyn White of Flushing are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, June 10. They were married at East Richland Friends Evangelical Church by the Rev. Wayne F. Ickes.

Thad is the son of the late Henry and Lee White of Flushing. Marilyn is the daughter of Orville and Betty Simpson of Belmont.

They are the parents of four children: Melissa (Chad) Bower of Mount Gilead, Ohio; T.J. of Flushing; Eric (Bethany) White of St. Clairsville; and Erin (Casey) Mayo of Belmont.

They have 11 grandchildren: Leigh Ann, Brooke, Landen, Amorie and Alohna Bower, Keenan, Rosalie, Adelyn and Brayden White, and Casin and Parker Mayo.

Thad is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Marilyn is employed by Union Local Schools as a secretary at the middle school.
