William J. and Corrine Schreyer of Wheeling celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 21. They were united in marriage on June 21, 1958, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Bellaire, by the Rev. Joseph P. Malara.

Corrine is the daughter of the late Matilda and Paul Weigand of Bellaire. She is a retired registered nurse from Wheeling Hospital and Mount St. Joseph.

Bill is the son of the late Augusta and William Schreyer of Wheeling. He is a retired appliance salesman and a United States Air Force veteran.

They are the parents of five children: Bill, Bernadette (Scott) Conklin, Michael (Laura), Nancy (Jim Jen) and Kurt (Kim). They have 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the occasion with an anniversary mass at 5 p.m. June 30 at St. John’s Church in Bellaire, and a family dinner at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay, Wheeling.
