50th wedding

anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Allen Benesh Sr. of Bellaire celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 6. They were married July 6, 1968, at Thoburn Methodist Church in St. Clairsville.

Mr. Benesh is the son of the late John Sr. and Etta Benesh. He is retired from Weirton Steel Corp., school bus driver and pastor.

Mrs. Benesh is the daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Margaret Bommer. She is also retired from Ohio Valley Medical Center as a medical transcriptionist.

They are the proud parents of one son, Ray Allen, and wife Deborah from Marysville, Calif. They have five grandchildren, Rachel, Sara, Joseph, Vincent and Chanel.

They renewed their wedding vows on July 6 with their son Pastor Ray Allen Benesh Jr. performing the service.
