Glenn and Catherine LaRuffo Maxwell were married in the Bellaire Rock Hill Presbyterian Church on Dec. 19, 1959. They have four children: Robin of Orange, Va., Glenn (Terri) of Gahanna, Ohio, Tracy Ghoris of Bellaire and Steven of Whitehall (Columbus), Ohio.

Their two grandchildren are Sam (Katie) Bays of Washington, D.C., and Alex Maxwell of Gahanna, Ohio.

After retirement, they spent most of their time traveling around the world and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. In 1998, they founded a Habitat affiliate in Belmont County. Under their leadership they were responsible for the building of 23 houses. They retired from Habitat for

Humanity.

Their family is honoring them with a dinner to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
