50th wedding anniversary

Joseph (Joe) and Tina Hudson Koler of Bethlehem celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 14. They were united in marriage Aug. 14, 1971, in the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Hubert Barnett officiating.

Tina is the daughter of the late Clyde (Pete) and Marie Clark Hudson. She is a retired teacher from Ohio County Schools.

Joe is the son of the late Edward and Sadie Klimek Koler. He is a retired business machine technician of Simmons Business Systems, Bethel Park, Pa. He is entering his 48th year as a football official on the Ohio Valley Board where he serves on the executive board.

Joe is past president of the board and taught the training class for 20 years.

The couple will renew their vows on their anniversary in the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Kenneth M. Hardway as celebrant.

Participating in the ceremony will be their three daughters: Carissa Koler of Wheeling, Natalie McCready of South Point, Canonsburg, Pa., and Amanda Niksic of Leechburg, Pa.; son-in-laws Jesse McCready and Steven Niksic; and grandchildren Madison Harper McCready, Mason Joseph McCready and Kinsley Marie Niksic will also take part.

After the renewal of vows, there will be a reception at the Wheeling Island Marina. A trip is planned for a later date.
