Dennis and Marlene (Mekulich) Boggs

Dennis and Marlene (Mekulich) Boggs are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 20, 1961, in Cumberland, Md., with Pastor Wakeman doing the wedding vows.

Marlene is the daughter of the late Michael and Madge Mekulich of Ambridge, Pa. Marlene worked for G.C. Murphy Co. in Ambridge, Pa., as a manager for 10 years. She retired from WesBanco Arena in Wheeling after 10 years.

Dennis is the son of the late Sanford and Margaret Boggs of Baden, Pa. Dennis retired from Lance Inc. after 37 years. He also worked for McKeen Security for five years and LaserShip for five years.

The couple has two children, Dennis of Martins Ferry and Kris (Trevetti) Boerstler of Aiden, SC. They have six grandchildren, Jamie and Dennis (DJ) Boggs of Martins Ferry and Cora Boggs (Justin) of Hanover, Pa., Joshua (Patti) Kerien (Savanna), Danielle (Nathan) Boerster of Aiken, SC.

They also have three beautiful great grandchildren, Charlotte Lucy and Jack Boerstler of Aiden, SC. The couple will celebrate with family.
