Larry and Laura Peddicord are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on March 9.

They were united in marriage March 9, 1982, in Martins Ferry at the home of Jim and Cheyenne Schramm by the late Mayor John Laslo. They later had their marriage blessed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clairsville, by Msgr. George Coyne.

Peddicord, son of the late Victor and Eleanor Peddicord, is retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Federal Building in Wheeling. His wife, Laura, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ellen Conners is retired from Belmont Savings Bank in St. Clairsville.

They are the parents of three children: Lisa Peddicord of Montgomery, Texas; Larry Wayne (Trish) Peddicord of Marion, Iowa; and Bryan (Kim) Planey of St. Clairsville.

They have six granddaughters, Katelynn (Clay) Logan, Kacie (William) Hood, Natalie and Brenna Planey, and Reese and Shea Peddicord; three great granddaughters, Alice and Lucy Logan and Rebecca Hood; and one great grandson, James Hood.
