Judy and Henry Newhart of Martins Ferry celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday,

They were united in marriage Sept. 14, 1963, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Martins Ferry, with The Rev. Eldon W. Barell officiating.

Judy Newhart is the daughter of the late Betty and Frank Fleahman. She is a retired home health aide.

Henry Newhart is the son of the late Betty Sauers and Edward Newhart Jr. Henry is retired from Handley House.

They are the parents of two children. The family includes Mary Beth and her husband Andy Holt of Asheboro, N.C., and Michael Newhart and his wife, Ann, of Ashland, Va.

They have five grandchildren: Sean, Scott and Allison Newhart; Mason Holt and Elane Edwards.
