Congratulations to Grant Helms and his bride of 65 years, Jeanette "Jay" (Runco) Helms of Tiltonsville, Ohio.
After dating for seven years Grant and Jay were married on September 2, 1961, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, Ohio, by the Rev. Fr. Connie Superfisky. They recently celebrated this remarkable milestone with a surprise family dinner surrounded by those they love. They were so surprised and feel thankful, blessed and loved.
Together they have built a wonderful family, including their two sons, David (Susan) Helms and Barry (Danielle) Helms. They also cherish their special niece and flower girl, Judy (Doug) Peckens, who has always been like a daughter to them. They are blessed with four grandchildren, Sydney, Caitlin, Trey, and Spencer, as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and their families. They are all loved as grandchildren.
Grant and Jay have shared not only a marriage but a true partnership. Rarely seen apart, they have spent a lifetime working side by side, building a beautiful life together through several family businesses, most recently at Fairway River Links Golf Course in Rayland, Ohio.
Their 65 years of love, devotion, hard work, and unwavering commitment to one another are an inspiration to everyone who knows them. Congratulations, Grant and Jay, and best wishes for many more happy years together!
