Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Burba of Solon announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Marie to Travis Stephen, son of Robert and Carolyn Stephen of Beallsville.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Solon High School and graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University. She is a quality process and control engineer for Hormel Foods in Beloit, Wis.
Her fiance is a 1995 graduate of Beallsville and is also a graduate of The Ohio State University and is director of facility and grounds for The Rockford River Hawks professional baseball team in Loves Park, Ill.
A Dec. 1 wedding at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Solon is planned.
