Parents of the couple are Marta L. Butkus of Shadyside and the late Fred Butkus and also Mary Ann Kott and Larry Kott, both of Toledo.
The bride-elect attended St. John Central and Buckeye Local High School, a graduate of 2000.
Her fiance attended Central Catholic High School, Toledo and graduated in 1995. Both are graduates of the Professional Skills Institute of Toledo School of Practical Nursing.
