The parents of Brandy Caldwell and John Bobek would like to announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Chris Christian of Jackson and Tony Caldwell of Hebron, Ohio. She is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2005 graduate of Ohio Dominican University with an early childhood education degree. She is employed by Edvantages as a third grade teacher in Columbus where she was named district teacher of the year. She is also the varsity assistant basketball coach at Bexley High School.
Her fiance is the son of Sally Bobek of Shadyside and John and Deena Bobek of Shadyside. He is a 2001 graduate of Shadyside High School and will graduate from Hocking College in the fall with a fitness degree and will pursue a position as a personal trainer.
The couple plan to marry on Aug. 2, 2008 and reside in Hilliard, Ohio.
