Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. DeGenova, Jr. of Bellaire announce the engagement of their daughter, Annemarie to Michael Edward Dimmick, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Edward Dimmick, Sr. also of Bellaire.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2004 graduate of West Liberty State College, with a Regent's bachelor of arts degree in music and communications. She currently is a reporter for the Moundsville bureau of the Wheeling Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register.
Her fiance is a 1993 graduate of Bridgeport High School and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology from West Virginia Northern Community College. He is currently employed at The Highlands Target as an electronics specialist.
A Dec. 1 wedding is planned.
