Parents of the couple are Mark Arnold of New Athens and Laurie and Guy Merryman of Cadiz, and Paula and Jeff Rowlands of Barnesville and Bart Giesey of Villa Rica, Ga.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Cadiz High School and a 2001 graduate of the Boyd School of Pittsburgh, Pa. with an associate's degree in business specialized in travel and tourism. She is employed by Lowe's in St. Clairsville as an appliance specialist.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Barnesville High School. He is employed by FedEx Ground in Cambridge.
The couple will be married Oct. 13 at the New Athens United Methodist Church.
