David and Beth Fristick and Joe and Melody DeFranco, all of Wheeling, announce the engagement of their children, Heather N. Fristick and Dustin J. DeFranco.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Central High School, a 2006 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, and a 2007 graduate of the American Military University, with a master's degree in security management. She is employed by the United States Government, Department of Energy.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio University with a degree in business economics. He is employed by National City Bank as a licensed financial consultant.
The couple is planning a Nov. 3 wedding.
