Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fillipovich of St. Clairsville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly L. Fillipovich, to Michael B. Malpezzi, son of Dr. and Mrs. William Malpezzi of Las Vegas.
The bride elect is a 1998 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2002 graduate of Waynesburg College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She was recently employed by Reliant Energy in Pittsburgh as a business analyst and is in the process of relocating to Ontario, Calif.
Her fiance is a 1994 graduate of the University of San Diego High School. He enlisted in the Navy in 1998 and served six years aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis as a chemistry technician. He graduated from Thomas Edison State College in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering technology. He is currently working for Reliant Energy in Ontario, Calif. as a power plant engineer and pursuing a masters degree from Southern Methodist University.
A Dec. 8 wedding is planned.
