Debbie and Paul Curnes of Martins Ferry announce the engagement of their son, Doug, to Katie Frigge, daughter of Ann and John Frigge of Troy, Ohio.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Troy High School and a 2005 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science in Exercise Physiology. She is currently working on her master's degree in education.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Martins Ferry High School, and a 2004 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. He received a master of science in special education from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. He is currently employed by Troy City Schools and is the assistant varsity wrestling coach for Troy High School.
An April 19 wedding is planned.
