Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Manukin of Lansing announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele Renee Manukin, to Jeremy Paul Baran, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Baran of Steubenville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. John Central High School and Ohio Northern University with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy. She is employed as a pharmacist by Walgreens in Reynoldsburg and currently serves as pharmacy manager.
Her fiance was home schooled by his parents and graduated from Ohio Northern University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. After graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and completed two tours of duty in San Diego and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, respectively. He is currently stationed in Bethesda, Md. where he is a second year medical student at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
A May 24 wedding is planned.
