Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bobek of Shadyside announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole A. Bobek to Jeffery G. Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Richardson, also of Shadyside.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Shadyside High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in speech and hearing from The Ohio State University in 2000 and a master of arts degree in early childhood education from Ashland University in 2004. She teaches first grade at Hilliard Crossing Elementary School in Hilliard.
Her fiance is a 1989 graduate of Shadyside High School and received a bachelor of science degree in geology from Denison University in 1993, a master of science degree in geology from The Ohio State University in 1999 and a PhD in micropaleontology from The Ohio State University in 2003. He is an assistant professor of geology at Columbus State Community College.
A June 7 wedding is planned.
