Her fiance is a graduate of Capital E.A. Laney High School, a graduate of University North Carolina Wilmington with a bachelor's degree in coastal environmental management, a graduate of West Carolina University with a master's degree in geography. He works as a city planner for Wilmington, N.C.
An April 19 wedding is planned at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bridgeport.
