Deborah Lynn Vaughn and Jeffrey Todd Loeffler, both of Shadyside, announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Barbara Reed of St. Clairsville and the late Eugene Reed, Saundra and Robert Dorris of St. Clairsville and Robert Loeffler of Navasota, Texas.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Brooke High School. She attended West Liberty State College and Wheeling Jesuit University. She is employed by the State of Ohio.
Her fiance is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and holds a degree in police science from Hocking College. He is a senior patrolman with the Shadyside Police Department and a varsity football and basketball official with the Ohio Valley Board.
A May 3 wedding is being planned.
