The bride-elect is the daughter of Melanie Kubat of Mt. Pleasant and the late Edward "Boots'' Kubat Jr. She is the granddaughter of Ed and Sandy Sambuco of Mt. Pleasant and Ed and Rosalie Kubat of Dillonvale.
The groom-to-be is the son of Greg and Lisa Burr of Toronto. He is the grandson of Bill and Carol Burr of Weirton and James and Mary Jane Kilmartin of Weirton.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Buckeye Local High School. She graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2006 with a degree in graphic arts and web design. She is employed by Lowe's in Steubenville.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Toronto High School. He is employed by OK Grocery in Cranberry, Pa.
A June 7 wedding is planned.
