Vernon and Cinda Loyer of St. Clairsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Loyer, to Scott Bell, son of David and Chris Bell of Cleveland Heights.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School in 1999 and received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Ashland University and a master's degree in education of the deaf from Smith College, Northampton, Mass. She is employed at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech in Pittsburgh.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and will receive a degree in English and creative writing from Cleveland State University in May. He is employed at Dick's Sporting Goods in Cleveland.
The couple has chosen June 28 as their wedding date.
