Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Baker of Jacobsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Corie Lynn Baker to Anthony Blake McDaniel, son of Vivian McDaniel of Cocoa, Fla. and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley McDaniel of Tallmadge, Ohio.
The bride~to~be is a 2001 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2006 graduate of Ohio University Eastern. She is employed as a medical receptionist at Cuyahoga Falls Chiropractic Clinic in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of River High School and is a student at Akron University/Summa St. Thomas in the paramedic program. He is currently working for Rural Metro Ambulance in Cleveland as an emergency medical technician.
They are planning a March 21, 2009 wedding at the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church in Shadyside.
