Rich and Joann Carson of New Cumberland, W.Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Christine to Richard Chad Soos, son of Nancy Soos of Adena and the late Richard Soos.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Oak Glen High School and a 2007 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology and a minor in elementary education. She is employed at Berkeley Family Medicine in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, a 2005 graduate of West Liberty State College with a bachelor of science in elementary education and a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College with a master's degree in intervention specialist. He is an intervention specialist for Widmeyer Elementary in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
The couple will be united in marriage June 7 at the interfaith chapel at West Liberty State College.
