Mr. and Mrs. Michael C. Shaffer of Yorkville and Mark E. Moore and Carlo Ann Ramsey of Rayland announce the engagement of their daughter, Tia Renee to Dean Andrew Paxton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Paxton of Yorkville.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and is currently attending Jefferson Community College. She will be transferring to Northern Virginia in Woodbridge, Va. in the fall to obtain a degree in physical therapy.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps currently stationed in Quantico, Va. having served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is currently attending Northern Virginia.
The couple will be married on July 5 at the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant.
