Curtis and Cathy Weeks of Shadyside announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Ashly Weeks to Robert Eugene Thomas, son of Bob and Kim Craig of Martins Ferry.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2007 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in organizational communication. She is employed by United Bank in Wheeling.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Bridgeport High School and attended Wheeling Jesuit University. He is a private first class in the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed at Camp Johnson in Jacksonville. N.C.
An Aug. 16 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shadyside.
