Michael and Casandra Welsh of St. Clairsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Welsh to Brian Steele, son of Richard and Barbara Steele also of St. Clairsville.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor of science degree in biology. She earned her doctor of dental science degree at The Ohio State University in 2006. She is currently an associate dentist at the Small Smiles Dental Center in Cincinnati.
Her fiance graduated from St. John Central High School in Bellaire in 1995. He is a 2000 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is currently employed as a senior project manager for Messer Construction in Cincinnati.
An Aug. 23 wedding is planned at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Wheeling. A dinner reception will follow at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
