Ms. Mary Pickerel of Plainfield, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Baumgard of Steubenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Baumgard to Jeffrey D. Volan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Volan of Martins Ferry.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Plainfield High School. She is employed by Central Indiana Periodontal Associates as a dental assistant and holds a certification in dental radiology, health and safety through the Dental Assisting National Board and the Indiana State Board of Health.
Her fiance is a 1999 graduate of Martins Ferry High School. He is a 2004 graduate of Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He is a 2005 graduate of Indiana Bible College.
An Oct. 3 wedding is being planned at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Steubenville.
