Cynthia Kapolka of Shadyside announces the engagement of her daughter, Jennifer Rebecca Kennedy, to Anthony Chin Wang, son of Jason and Sophie Wang of Worthington, Ohio.
The bride-elect is also the grand-daughter of Anna Marie Pata and the late Joseph Pata, of Tiltonsville and Green Valley, Ariz. She is a graduate of Shadyside High School and Muskingum College with a double bachelor’s degree in communication and English. She is employed by Ashland Chemical Headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.
Her fiance is a graduate of Worthington-Kilborne High School, Columbus State Community College, The Ohio State University, and Ashford University, with a master’s degree in business administration and human resources. He is employed by Nationwide World Headquarters in Columbu.
A wedding is planned for Sept. 5, 2009 at North Bank Park Pavillion in downtown Columbus.
