James and Pamela Ramsey of Murfreesboro, Tenn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachelle Rea to Matthew Paul Shaffer, son of Robert and Diane Shaffer of Groveport. Rachelle is the granddaughter of Paul and Sara Spragg of Adena and John and Joann Ramsey of Richmond, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Otterbein College. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree with honors in life science and psychology. She is employed as a research assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
Her fiance is a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in business, economics, and accounting. He is employed by National City Bank.
The couple plans to marry on July 26 at Groveport Zion Lutheran Church where Pastor Rob Spicer will perform the ceremony. A reception will be held at The Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City. The couple will reside in Dublin, Ohio.
