Ralph and Donna Spano of Steubenville announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Ann Spano to Rich Joseph Fillipovich, son of Richard and Kathy Fillipovich of St. Clairsville.
The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Edison High School and a 2002 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelors degree in mental health and human services. She is employed at Youth Services System as a case manager.
Her fiance is a 1996 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and attended Ohio University. He recently completed a certificate to be an apprentice coalminer. He is currently self-employed and co-operator of Rich’s Landscaping Company based out of St. Clairsville.
An Aug. 9 wedding is being planned.
