The bride-elect is the daughter of Richard and Karen Palivoda of Parma. She is a 1998 graduate of Parma Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of Kent State University with a degree in geography. She is currently employed as a GIS specialist/cartographer for Michael Baker Jr., Inc.
Her fiance is the son of Thomas and Barbara Geer of Shadyside. He is a 1998 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2002 graduate of Kent State University in advertising and is currently employed as an account specialist with Kurt J. Lesker Company.
An Oct. 4 wedding is planned.
