Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gregg of Fairview and Linda Gregg of Beallsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Leigh to Paulo Anderson Lopes, son of Cristina Silva and Paulo Lopes of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Union Local High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio University Eastern. She is employed by Osceola School District teaching first grade.
Her fiance is a 1999 high school graduate. He owns Lopes Aluminum Corp.
An Oct. 14 wedding in Las Vegas is planned with a reception in the summer of 2009. They will reside in Orlando, Fla.
