William and Cynthia Artrip of Bethesda, announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Lynn, to Paul Joseph Ricca, son of Charles and Nancy Ricca of Point Pleasant, N.J.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Union Local High School and received her bachelor of science degree in human ecology in 2007 and her master of education degree in 2008 from The Ohio State University. She is employed by the Circleville City School District as a first grade teacher.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Morris Knolls High School, Rockaway, N.J. and a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University, earning a bachelor of arts degree in criminology. He is currently a second lieutenant in the United States Army.
A June wedding is being planned.
