Michael C. Sonk and Amy L. Smith announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith of Bellaire, Ohio and Rose Smith of Bridgeport. She is a graduate of St. John’s Central High School and the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing. She is employed at Grant Medical Center in Columbus as a registered nurse on a Medical/Surgical/Oncology Unit.
Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Sonk of St. Clairsville. He is a graduate of St. Clairsville High School and DeVry University where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in information systems. He is employed at Valley National Gases, LLC as a sales tepresentative in Dover. He is also employed as an instructor of basic computer courses with Belmont Technical College in St. Clairsville.
A May 30 wedding is planned.
