Joe and Karen Byrne of Bethesda announce the engagement of their daughter, Aliyah G. Byrne, to Sean A. Kennedy, son of Greg Kennedy of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Kathy Hadley of Bellaire.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Bellaire High School and attended Bowling Green State University as an art education major. She currently resides in Cleveland, pursuing a freelance art career.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in history. He resides in Cleveland and is employed as an editor for PR Newswire. He will attend John Carroll University for graduate school in the spring.
A June 13 wedding is planned.
