Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming marriage of Matthew James McGuire and Nicole Marie January.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Timothy and Sherry January of Fly and Nancy and Gary Rodgers of South Carolina. She is a 2000 graduate of River High School and received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Waynesburg College and a doctor of physical therapy degree from Wheeling Jesuit University. She is a physical therapist and is current employed by Jackson Therapy Partners in Cleveland.
Her fiance is the son of Jim and Robyn McGuire of Clarington. He is a 1999 graduate of River High School and recieved a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology in 2005 from West Liberty State College. He is currently employed by Symrise Inc., in Elyria, Ohio as a QC lab technician.
A Sept. 5 wedding is planned.
