Chad and Debbie Burghy of Morristown announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendl LaRae, to Dirk Mankin, son of David and Wendy Mankin and Kay Mankin, all of Barnesville.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Union Local High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University Eastern with a bachelor of science degree in health administration. She will be pursuing her licensure to become a long term care administrator and is currently employed at Cumberland Pointe Care Center.
Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Barnesville High School and is currently employed at Belmont Correctional Institution.
An Aug. 1 wedding is being planned.
