John and Wanda Maguire of Ravenna announce the engagement of their daughter, Shawna Erin to Aaron Eugene Borkoski, son of Randy and Mary Borkoski of Adena.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Ravenna High School and a 2007 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is currently working on her master of science degree in management of nonprofit agencies at Capella University. She is employed as the outreach coordinator at Portage Learning Centers in Ravenna.
Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Buckeye Local High School. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2001 from Point Park College in Pittsburgh and also received an associate degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is the manager of Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home in Ravenna.
A June 20 wedding is planned in Ravenna.
