The bride-elect is the daughter of Sue and Chester Allen of Shadyside. She is a 2004 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio University Eastern with a degree in social services.
Her fiance is the son of James E. Day and step-mother Deborah S. Day and Sylvia Smith. He is a 2002 graduate of Shadyside High School. He is the manager of Golden Chopsticks.
The couple is planning a wedding for 2012.
