DURING February, the Belmont County District Library is out to help you get a blind date — with a book. Stop by the Martins Ferry location and show your love of reading by choosing one of their book-dates. Each book will be wrapped to hide the true identity of the book, with only a brief description on the outside. After your “date,” simply return the “Rate Your Date” form found inside the book to be entered in a drawing for a Kindle Fire. Take a chance: Step out of your comfort zone and date a completely new genre or choose a more familiar read. Whether you find the book of your dreams or end the date early, library books are easy to return without any awkwardness. For information, call 740-633-0314 or inquire at the circulation desk.
