THE JUNE American Legion Post 159, St. Clairsville, June 28 lunch includes hamburgers or two hot dogs or sausage with fries, and on June 21, spaghetti and meatballs, which includes salad, roll and dessert.

ST. JOSEPH Holy Name Society, Tiltonsville, is sponsoring a Steak Fry on June 24 at the Warren Township Park West Shelters from 5-9 p.m. Menu includes a ribeye steak, baked potato, salad, dessert and beverages. There will be raffles and entertainment. The cost is a $25 donation. People should bring their own place settings.

MONROE COUNTY will host the Ohio Ethics Commission and the Auditor of State for two trainings to be held on Sept. 13 at the Sardis Community Center, 37184 Mound St., Sardis, just off of Ohio 7. Ohio Ethics Law will be held from 9-11 a.m. and does not require registration.

Public Records training will be held from 1-4:15 p.m. and does require registration at https://ohioauditor.gov/trainings/registration.html. Both trainings are open to any Ohio county, township, village or city officials and their employees. Both trainings count toward continuing education credits for township fiscal officers.

SUMMER TEA Lunchdeon is planned for 12:30 p.m. June 24 at the Eckhart House Tea Room, 810 Main Street, Wheeling. There is a cost.

WEST VIRGINIA-Ohio Seniors are inviting people to join them on a trip to Mackinac Island in upper Michigan. The trip is slated for Aug. 20-26. The cost is $685 per person, double occupancy. Lodging, transportation, meals and all tips are included.
