Hilda Eimer 100th birthday

Hilda Eimer will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Feb. 25. She is a resident of Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Bellaire.

Hilda was born in Beallsville a daughter of the late Carl and Hazel Rucker. She lived most of her life in Shadyside where she owned and operated Hilda’s Beauty Shop. She is a member of the Shadyside Church of Christ.

Hilda always had a vegetable and flower garden. She loved quilting and her family all have beautiful quilts they treasure. She was always busy. While watching TV she would make crafts or do hand sewing. She had a parakeet, Petee, whom she taught to talk.

Hilda has three sons: Jerry (Sylvia) Eimer, Kenneth (Peggy) Eimer and Richard (Cheryl) Eimer; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and one sister Mary Donna (John) Wodarcyk.

The family, who wish Hilda a happy birthday and say they love her, will gather at CCRC on Tuesday to celebrate her birthday.
