Mary Lou Pruneski is celebrating her 90th birthday today, Feb. 23.
She was born Mary Lou Chuckery on Feb. 23, 1930, in Maynard, a daughter of Walter and Bertha Chuckery.
She and her husband, the late Joseph Paul Pruneski, were married on July 2, 1949. They had four children together: Joseph, Annette, Larry and Michelle. She has eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also has two sisters, Helen Marie and Jean.
Mary Lou was a secretary for Dr. Liggett in St. Clairsville. She was also president of the Catholic Women's Club at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard.
Mary Lou now lives in Dublin, Ohio.
