SMITHFIELD — Le Chateau Pier is hosting a “Drag Extravaganza” drag show on July 22 in its ballroom.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show will start at 9 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Chanel Cherry, a drag entertainer from Fairborn, Ohio.

Maya Bizness, Soy Queen, Anhedonia Delight, Mari Jane and Katrina Chimera, drag queens from the Columbus and Cincinnati areas, will also be performing at the event.

Soy Queen has been performing across the state of Ohio since 2015 and has won many awards including being crowned Miss Gay Ohio in 2019.

A cash bar will be open in the ballroom during the drag show, and Luna Bleu Lounge located in Le Chateau Pier will be open to serve food and drinks before and after the show.

Luna Bleu Lounge also has a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment including a pool table, board games, volleyball, badminton, corn hole and oversized Jenga.

Le Chateau Pier has hosted drag shows in the past, and its most recent show was held on April Fools’ Day. Tickets for the April Fools’ Day show sold out.

Le Chateau Pier posted on its Facebook page that organizers expect tickets to sell out again for July’s event, so those who wish to attend should purchase tickets soon.

Anyone ages 18 and older can buy tickets for the event.

The Luna Bleu Lounge is open from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.

Le Chateau Pier is a bed and breakfast and event venue with indoor and outdoor dining, a ballroom that seats 180, Piergallini Catering, the Country Villa Bed and Breakfast and Luna Bleu Lounge. It is located at 195 State Route 151 in Smithfield.
