ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The arts scene in Belmont County is set to shine brighter than ever as Belmont County students share their talents at the Ohio Valley Mall.

“This eagerly awaited event promises a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and culture,” a news release states.

Hosted by the East Central Ohio Educational Service Center, the Celebration of the Arts will serve as a platform to honor and highlight the diverse artistic talents flourishing within our local community. From visual arts to performing arts, attendees can expect a rich tapestry of talent on display from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6.

A highlight of the event will be the Belmont County High School Art Show, showcasing the works of budding young artists from across the county. This juried exhibition will feature an array of mediums, styles and themes, providing a glimpse into the creativity of our youth. These pieces will be displayed from April 4-7 for visitors to the event to vote on the People’s Choice Award for 2024.

“This event will be a testament to the incredible talent and vibrant arts community that thrives within our county,” the release notes. “We invite everyone to join us for a weekend filled with inspiration, creativity, and celebration.”

The Belmont County Celebration of the Arts Festival will take place at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
